Nagy Contract Disapproved

The NFL has disapproved the contract of quarterback Matt Nagy and the Eagles have decided to go in another direction, according to team spokesman Derek Boyko. Nagy, who has worked as a coaching intern during the 2008 and 2009 Eagles training camps at Lehigh University, was signed to a contract Monday evening after Kevin Kolb suffered an MCL sprain that will keep him sidelined for Thursday's preseason opener against New England. Nagy is a veteran of six seasons in the Arena Football League, playing for the Columbus Destroyers (2007-08), Georgia Force (2005-06), Carolina Cobras (2004), and New York Dragons (2002). He had never been in an NFL camp as a player.
