Another change is coming in the secondary on Sunday night as cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman was downgraded to out due to an illness. The Eagles announced the update on Sunday morning.
The primary slot corner, Robey-Coleman started in seven of 15 games, including each of the past four in his first year with the Eagles. The Eagles' starting secondary is now without Robey-Coleman (illness), cornerback Avonte Maddox (IR), safety Rodney McLeod (IR), and safety Jalen Mills (COVID-19 list).
Who is available for the Eagles in the secondary? Grayland Arnold, Blake Countess, Marcus Epps, Rudy Ford, Michael Jacquet, Elijah Riley, Darius Slay, and K'Von Wallace. Jacquet and Slay are the only true cornerbacks of the group.
(UPDATE: The Eagles placed Robey-Coleman on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and elevated cornerback Jameson Houston from the practice squad, giving the team another option. Running back Adrian Killins was placed on the practice squad COVID-19 list.)
