Head coach Doug Pederson said that the foot injury that defensive tackle Malik Jackson suffered in Sunday's win over Washington is "significant" and one "that's going to require some time."
Jackson was carted off the field in the fourth quarter after playing 34 snaps on defense in his Eagles debut. He started alongside Fletcher Cox and registered one tackle, according to the press box stats.
The Eagles have Tim Jernigan, who has started 22 regular- and postseason games over the past two seasons. Jernigan posted the Eagles' lone sack on Sunday. Backup defensive tackle Hassan Ridgeway was on the field for 24 snaps in the game. If needed, the Eagles have Bruce Hector on the practice squad.
