The Eagles released safety Trenton Robinson from the practice squad on Tuesday. No corresponding move has been announced yet.
Robinson, 23, joined the Eagles prior to the start of the regular season after spending the 2012 season and the 2013 offseason with the San Francisco 49ers. Originally a sixth-round pick by the Niners in 2012 out of Michigan State, Robinson, 5-foot-9, 193 pounds, was one of two safeties on the eight-man practice squad.
Seven players remain on the practice squad: defensive end Brandon Bair, tackle Michael Bamiro, safety Keelan Johnson, outside linebacker Travis Long, wide receiver Will Murphy, wide receiver Greg Salas and running back Matthew Tucker.
