It wouldn't be Eagles-Redskins without some drama. In the case of Monday night, the drama happened before the kickoff. As the Eagles finished up their pre-game warmup, they broke as a team and ran off the field toward their tunnel at FedEx Field. All of a sudden, there was pushing and shoving between some Eagles players and Redskins players, notably defensive backs DeAngelo Hall and LaRon Landry from Washington, along with a bunch of offensive linemen, and a host of Eagles players. There did not appear to be any punches thrown.
Nothing came of the pre-game emotions -- it did not erupt into a melee -- but it certainly added to the intensity of the moment. Check out Spudcam on Tuesday for an on-field view of the pre-game action.
