The Eagles announced their list of inactive players for the Week 2 showdown with the Los Angeles Rams at Lincoln Financial Field.
• DE Genard Avery
• G Jamon Brown
• RB Jason Huntley
• WR Alshon Jeffery
• G Sua Opeta
• QB Nate Sudfeld
Some notes:
• QB Jalen Hurts is the No. 2 quarterback.
• Defensive end Derek Barnett (hamstring), defensive tackle Javon Hargrave (pectoral, hamstring), tackle Lane Johnson (ankle), and running back Miles Sanders (hamstring) will play for the first time in 2020 after missing the Week 1 game at Washington due to injury. Johnson's return allowed for guards Jamon Brown and Sua Opeta to be inactive. Rookie Jason Huntley is inactive with Sanders back in the lineup.
• Defensive end Brandon Graham is also active after suffering a concussion last week at Washington. With Barnett and Graham active, Genard Avery is a healthy scratch. Rookie Casey Toohill is active as well for the first time.
• Cornerback Trevor Williams will make his Eagles debut. Williams was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday. He is one of five active cornerbacks to contend the Rams' extensive use of 11 personnel (three wide receivers). He has 39 games (27 starts) on his résumé, mostly from his time with the Chargers. In 2017, Williams started 15 of the Chargers' 16 games.
