Head coach Andy Reid announced on Wednesday that Kevin Kolb will start Sunday against the Titans as Michael Vick continues to recover from his rib cartilage injury.
Kolb threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns in last week's win over the Falcons. Kolb was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week by the NFL on Wednesday morning. Kolb has led the Eagles to a win in each of the team's last two games.
Reid said that Vick will do more in practice this week. Vick did some limited scout team work last Friday. Reid added that Vick will be involved in some role as a backup. Vick was the No. 3 quarterback last week against Atlanta as Mike Kafka was the primary backup.
