The NFL announced on Monday that Houston wide receiver Andre Johnson will be fined $25,000 for his role in a fight with Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan on Sunday. Of course, Eagles fans wouldn't have minded if he was suspended for the game.
Head coach Andy Reid called Johnson one of the Texans' two blue-chip players along with defensive end Mario Williams. Reid is just fine with Johnson being available for Thursday's game.
"Things happen. It's an emotional game. He was going up against an emotional guy," Reid said Monday on his weekly radio show. "I like them all there. That's OK with me. Let's go play."
