While attending Wednesday night's game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Nets at the Wells Fargo Center, head coach Andy Reid was interviewed by Sixers.com's Matt Cord and discussed a number of topics ranging from his playing basketball at Lakers games while growing up to this year's Super Bowl.
Even though the Eagles are not in the big game, Reid said that he will watch the contest, but is more focused on helping get the Eagles their first Lombardi Trophy.
"I want the Philadelphia Eagles to be in that game and to win that game in particular for this city and all of our fans," Reid said.
Reid said that he will watch his three players - defensive end Jason Babin, running back LeSean McCoy and offensive tackle Jason Peters - in action this Sunday at the Pro Bowl. Of course, he said he's crossing his fingers that no one gets hurt, but wants to see the NFC come out with the win.
"I wish we were still playing and those guys weren't playing in the Pro Bowl rather playing in the Super Bowl," Reid said.
