Roster Move: Eagles Add WR Hernandez

The 90-man roster underwent a slight transformation on Saturday as the Eagles announced that they signed wide receiver Brian Hernandez. To make room on the roster, defensive tackle John Gill was released.

The 5-11, 190-pound Hernandez was originally signed by the Redskins back on May 6, but was waived by the team on July 27 when the team claimed Dezmon Briscoe off waivers from the Buccaneers. Following his college career at Utah in 2007, Hernandez played in the United Football League.

Hernandez will wear No. 80.
