The Eagles made another round of roster moves on Wednesday, leaving one spot open on both the 53-man roster and the practice squad. Here are the moves they made:
- Opened the 21-day practice window for Åvonte Maddox
- Signed offensive tackle Roderick Johnson and defensive tackle Marvin Wilson to the practice squad.
Avonte Maddox
The Eagles' secondary is closer to adding cornerback Avonte Maddox back to the mix as the team has opened his 21-day practice window. Maddox has been on injured reserve since November 14 due to a hamstring injury – his first game out was the team's first and only loss of the season against the Washington Commanders. The 5-year veteran recorded 27 tackles and 1 interception through six games before he was sidelined due to injury. Now that his practice window is opened, he can be elevated to the active roster at any time.
Roderick Johnson and Marvin Wilson
One week after they were released, the Eagles signed Roderick Johnson and Marvin Wilson back to the practice squad. Their additions mean that there is now one remaining open spot on the practice squad.
