Cornerback Asante Samuel would not give any assurances that he will be able to suit up Sunday vs. the Giants, but he offered this nugget. He said that he's not concerned about getting right back into action after missing the last three games with a knee sprain.
"No, I'm not really worried about rust," Samuel said.
Samuel was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. He was full-go on Wednesday. The Eagles did practice indoors on the turf and the team typically rests players with knee conditions when they work out on the harder surface.
The Pro Bowl cornerback did state that he has not had any setbacks.
"I'm doing everything in my best to get back out there," Samuel said. "I feel good. Every day is a better day."
