Saquon Barkley played in his 11th game as a Philadelphia Eagle on Sunday night.

He has now won NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors in four of those contests.

The fourth and most recent coming after Barkley made history Sunday night against the Rams in prime time setting new franchise single-game records for rushing yards (255) and yards from scrimmage (302) in the 37-20 victory. Prior to signing with the Eagles this offseason, Barkley won three Player of the Week awards in his six seasons with the Giants.

No Eagles player has won more than three Player of the Week awards in a single season until now – DeSean Jackson (2009), Darren Sproles (2014), and Jake Elliott (2023) each captured three.

Barkley is one award shy of tying the NFL all-time record for most Offensive Player of the Week wins in a single season, done previously by quarterbacks Tom Brady (2007), Cam Newton (2015), and Lamar Jackson (2019).

Here are some news and notes from Saquon's historic performance:

• Saquon's 255 rushing yards were the most in a single game in Eagles history (217 by LeSean McCoy in the 2013 Snow Bowl win over Detroit).

• The 255 rushing yards were the ninth-most by a player in NFL history.

• Saquon's 302 yards from scrimmage also set a single-game franchise record (262 by Duce Staley in Pickle Juice Game vs. Dallas in 2000).

• Saquon is the fourth running back in the Super Bowl era to surpass 300 scrimmage yards in a single game.

• Saquon has five games with 140+ rushing yards and 1+ rushing touchdown this season, most in the NFL. That's tied for the most such games through a player's first 11 games in NFL history. He had five of those games prior to signing with the Eagles.

• Saquon had 162 rushing yards after contact against the Rams, both a career high and the most by any player in 2024, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.

• Saquon's 162 rushing yards after contact alone would have been the fifth-most rushing yards in a single game this season.

• Saquon has 500 yards from scrimmage over the last two games. The only player who had more was Walter Payton, who did it twice in the 1977 season (525 yards in Weeks 10-11 and 502 in Weeks 9-10).

• Saquon enters Week 13 as the NFL's leader in both rushing yards (1,392) and yards from scrimmage (1,649). He is just the eighth player since 1950 to have 1,350+ rushing yards and 10+ rushing touchdowns in the first 11 team games of a season and the first since 1998.
