EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Danny Watkins will be the only full-time starter who will suit up for the Eagles against the Jets on Thursday night.
The rookie right guard requested the opportunity to get more snaps before the start of the regular season. From left to right, the rest of the offensive line is King Dunlap, Julian Vandervelde, Mike McGlynn, Watkins and Reggie Wells. Jamaal Jackson will also get the night off.
Vince Young starts at quarterback. Dion Lewis is at running back with Eldra Buckley at fullback and Clay Harbor is at tight end.
On defense, Anthony Hargrove will start at left defensive end and Dan Te'o-Nesheim will be on the right end spot. In the middle will be two former Notre Dame players in Trevor Laws and Derek Landri. Brian Rolle will start at weakside linebacker, Akeem Jordan in the middle and Keenan Clayton on the strong side. Brandon Hughest and Trevard Lindley will man the corner spots as Jaiquawn Jarrett and Nate Allen get the call at the safety positions.
