Defensive assistant coach Brian Stewart was named defensive coordinator at the University of Houston on Monday. Stewart joined the Eagles this past off-season after a two-year stint as defensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys.
Said Eagles head coach Andy Reid: "We thank Brian for the job he did this past year in Philadelphia. He's a good football coach and he's well deserving of this new opportunity. He will bring a great deal of coaching experience to the already strong football staff at the University of Houston. We wish Brian and his family all the best."
