NEW ORLEANS – The Eagles are Super Bowl Champions for the second time in franchise history.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts was sensational again on the game's biggest stage.

The defense was downright dominant in limiting Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City offense.

The Eagles thwarted Kansas City's bid for a three-peat, exacting revenge for the Super Bowl loss two years ago in spectacular fashion.

Let's have a parade down Broad Street! Here's how it all unfolded.

FIRST QUARTER

• With 11:42 remaining, A.J. Brown was called for offensive pass interference on a fourth-and-2 attempt deep down the right sideline. Brown made the amazing over-the-shoulder catch, but referees flagged the contact on the play. The Eagles' first drive ended with a punt.

• Jalen Carter chased down Patrick Mahomes and forced him to throw an incomplete pass on third-and-9 to get the Eagles' defense off the field. The Chiefs are trying to attack the Eagles with short passes in the flat and over the middle.

• With 9:04 remaining, Jalen Hurts hits Dallas Goedert on the over route for a 20-yard gain to get into Chiefs' territory. Goedert helped extend the drive on third down as Trent McDuffie was called for unnecessary roughness. Then, the Eagles capitalized as Jalen Hurts connected with Jahan Dotson down the right sideline for a 27-yard gain to the 1-yard line. Saquon Barkley did a great job picking up the blitz on the big play to Dotson. One play later, Hurts plunged into the end zone with the Brotherly Love to make it 7-0 with 6:15 remaining in the first quarter.

• The Eagles' defense forces a three-and-out. On third-and-3, Josh Sweat got Patrick Mahomes off his spot and Nolan Smith came from the other side to help force the incomplete pass. Kansas City punted and the Eagles will start with the ball at their 20-yard line following the touchback.

• Jalen Hurts connects with DeVonta Smith on third-and-8 and Smith does a great job fighting through traffic to get the first down. Hurts connects with Jahan Dotson again in the flat and Dotson has room to run, gaining 15 yards. Hurts then uses his legs on a QB draw to gain 9 yards. Two plays later, from the Chiefs' 41-yard line, Jordan Mailata lines up flexed wide to the left on a Kenneth Gainwell run up the middle. The Chiefs appeared to get the Eagles' offense off the field with a blitz and a sack on third down, but an offsides call extended the drive. The Eagles remain in possession at the Chiefs' 34 to start the second quarter.

SECOND QUARTER

• Under pressure on third down, Jalen Hurts threw the ball deep down the right sideline for A.J. Brown, but the ball was underthrown and intercepted by Chiefs safety Bryan Cook. Kansas City takes over at its 2-yard line with 14:15 remaining.

• Pinned deep, the Eagles force another three-and-out. Patrick Mahomes hit Kareem Hunt on a short pass over the middle for a 5-yard gain on second down. On third down, Mahomes tried a quick pass to Travis Kelce that was low and incomplete. Cooper DeJean returned the punt to the Eagles' 43-yard line.

• Tyler Steen is in at right guard for Mekhi Becton, who is questionable to return with a knee injury.

• Jalen Hurts goes to A.J. Brown down the right sideline with the back-shoulder throw to convert a third-and-7 for a gain of 22 yards to the Chiefs' 32-yard line. The Eagles capitalize with a 48-yard field goal by Jake Elliott to make it 10-0 with 8:38 remaining.

• Josh Sweat opens the Chiefs' drive with a sack. Rookie Jalyx Hunt followed up with a sack on second down. On third down, Cooper DeJean intercepted Patrick Mahomes' pass and returned it 38 yards down the right sideline for a touchdown to make it 17-0 with 7:03 remaining in the half.

• After the pick-six, the Eagles force another three-and-out as Milton Williams comes up with the sack on third down.

• Saquon Barkley has been bottled up thus far by the Chiefs' defense, but on the opening play of this drive, he was able to get 9 yards to help move the chains. The Eagles were bailed out of a potential third-and-26 thanks to an unnecessary roughness penalty on Nick Bolton. After the two-minute warning, the Eagles faced third-and-3, the Chiefs blitzed and Jalen Hurts' pass to A.J. Brown down the left sideline was incomplete.

• ZACK BAUN!!! After being snubbed for the Defensive Player of the Year honor, Baun comes up with the second interception of Mahomes deep in Chiefs' territory to set the Eagles up on the Kansas City 14-yard line.

• Two plays after the interception, Jalen Hurts connects with A.J. Brown on a crossing route for a 12-yard touchdown to make it 24-0 with 1:35 remaining.

• The Chiefs were undone by a pair of offensive penalties on their final drive of the first half.

• Saquon Barkley capped off a dominant first half with a 2-yard run to set the NFL single-season rushing record (regular season and playoffs).

THIRD QUARTER

• The Chiefs immediately put together their most impressive offensive drive to start the second half, but back-to-back sacks by Jordan Davis and Josh Sweat ended any promise of getting on the scoreboard. Sweat has 2.5 sacks in the game.

• As the Eagles look to add to their lead, Jalen Hurts takes over with his legs. He converted a third down with a 16-yard scramble then added 14 more yards to the Chiefs' 26-yard line. The Eagles padded their lead with a 29-yard field goal with 5:18 remaining.

• Brandon Graham's return wasn't some feel-good story. He drew a holding call as the Chiefs were gaining some momentum offensively. The Chiefs, down by 27, went for it on fourth-and-3 and Avonte Maddox deflected the pass on the out route for the turnover on downs.

• One play. Forty-six yards. Smitty TD. What else do you need to say? Eagles lead 34-0 in the Super Bowl wtih 2:40 remaining.

• There will be no shutout as Patrick Mahomes threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Xavier Worthy. However, the Chiefs failed on the two-point conversion and it's now 34-6 with 0:34 remaining in the quarter.
