The Eagles announced on the eve of Super Bowl LVII a series of roster moves.
• Activated P Arryn Siposs off Injured Reserve
• Elevated S Anthony Harris from the practice squad for Super Bowl LVII
• Elevated WR Greg Ward from the practice squad for Super Bowl LVII
Siposs suffered an ankle injury exactly two months ago against the New York Giants. In the interim, the Eagles signed three-time Pro Bowl selection Brett Kern to handle both punting and holding duties.
In his second year with the Eagles, Siposs improved both his gross punting average (1.7 yards per punt higher) and his net punting average (0.9 yards per punt higher), while also serving as the holder in the kicking operation with long snapper Rick Lovato and kicker Jake Elliott.
The Eagles elevated Harris from the practice squad for the first two playoff games, but he was inactive on gameday both times. Harris is a former league leader in interceptions and paced the Eagles' secondary in tackles in the 2021 season. While he hasn't suited up for the Eagles this season after returning to the practice squad on December 13, he played in three games for the Broncos in the 2022 campaign.
Ward has not played in a game this season. He's an experienced punt returner who could be needed if Britain Covey is unable to go. Covey is questionable for Sunday's Super Bowl with a hamstring injury. It should be noted that Ward had the only two-touchdown game of his career at Arizona, the site of Sunday's game, in 2020.
