The Eagles filled the vacant spot on the practice squad Wednesday morning by signing tight end Emil Igwenagu. An opening on the practice squad was created Tuesday when the New York Jets signed Greg Salas to their active roster. Igwenagu, meanwhile, was released from the active roster Monday when the Eagles signed wide receiver B.J. Cunningham.
Igwenagu, 24, made the roster out of Training Camp and was inactive for the first six games of the season. He originally joined the Eagles in 2012 as an undrafted free agent out of Massachusetts.
