The rookie contracts are now being completed at a rapid rate for the Eagles.

Just last night, the Eagles agreed to terms on a four-year deal with seventh-round draft pick Kurt Coleman. On Friday, the Eagles agreed to terms with cornerback Trevard Lindley, linebacker Jamar Chaney and defensive tackle Jeff Owens. Each contract is four years in length.

The Eagles now have a deal in place with five out of 13 draft picks. Lindley, a fourth-round selection, is the highest of the Eagles draft picks to get a deal done to date.

The 5-11, 183-pound Lindley was a four-year starter at Kentucky, finishing his career as the school's all-time leader in pass breakups with 34. He registered 189 tackles and ten interceptions in his Wildcat career. A first-team All-SEC selection as a junior in 2008, Lindley earned team MVP honors that season after recording four interceptions and 11 pass breakups.

The team's seventh-round draft pick from Mississippi State in the 2010 draft, the 6-0, 242-pound Chaney was a two-time second-team All-SEC honoree. He played in 49 games (39 starts) while tallying 288 tackles, 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and two interceptions. In 2009, Chaney was tagged with second-team All-SEC honors after leading the team with 90 total tackles, in addition to two sacks, two interceptions, 4.5 tackles for loss, four passes defensed and two forced fumbles. He also led the team with 89 total tackles as a junior in 2007 en route to second-team All-SEC honors.

A senior defensive co-captain, the 6-1, 304-pound Owens was drafted in the seventh round of the 2010 draft out of Georgia. Owens started in 37 of 52 games at the University of Georgia, recording 102 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss and four quarterback hurries. He was one of just 11 players in the NCAA FBS ranks to receive 2009 Allstate American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team accolades.
