Today: #AskAnEagle With Bennie Logan

As he prepares for only his second year in the NFL, Bennie Logan is already an #AskAnEagle veteran. One of the funniest members of our 2013 Rookie Class, Bennie Logan will debut our 2014 Twitter Takeovers Wednesday afternoon following Day 2 of Minicamp. To help you think of some ridiculously awesome questions to ask the sophomore nose tackle, catch up with this social media review of his first NFL offseason.

No Offseason

There's a saying that the biggest jump for an NFL player is between the first and second year, and Bennie Logan certainly made the most of his first offseason. The already intimidating NT added muscle after the season ended in January, beefing up for an even more exciting 2014:

Now that's how you add six pounds of solid muscle during the #Eagles offseason. #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/7WGO19ZRQ6 — Philadelphia Eagles (@Eagles) May 20, 2014

The extra strength came in handy once the team returned for the voluntary offseason workouts. Logan was excited about his progress and this shined through on the practice field:

Off The Field

When he wasn't hitting the weights or grinding on the field, your sophomore nose tackle had some fun in front of the camera during picture days:

Logan knows that in addition to getting better every day, rest and relaxation are important parts of the NFL offseason. He spent his time connecting with his roots, bonding with teammates and supporting the City of Brotherly Love:

Philadelphia First

Bennie Logan's biggest offseason impact was felt in our community, where he continued his in-season tradition of regularly volunteering with Eagles Community Relations. The all-star volunteer worked with a number of diverse organizations throughout our city, including Eagles Youth Partnership's annual Playground Build and Eagles Care partners Riverbend Environmental Education Center and Clearview Youth Football, to encourage education and fitness, and most importantly inspire countless smiles (and selfies!):
