How much better will DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin be in their second year together?
The Eagles are as explosive as they have ever been at the wide receiver position with Jackson and second-year man Maclin leading the way. Jackson is as dangerous as any receiver in the league from anywhere on the field, and Maclin is right there with Jackson. Both have speed and the ability to get deep, and the Eagles are going to have fun stretching the field with both players.
But each player is also looking for improved numbers in the yards-after-the-catch category. The offense could feature more quick passes and short routes. Jackson's speed and Maclin's burst are essential to the attack.
It should be a dynamic duo. The Eagles may not look for one receiver over the other too much, but both Jackson and Maclin are in line for huge seasons and big numbers in an offense that throws the ball so much.
