When he rejoined the Eagles last Tuesday, linebacker Jeremiah Trotter said that one of the first things he did was work out a deal with Tracy White to get his No. 54 jersey back. Trotter did not tell what he had to give, if anything at all, to retain his No. 54, but if you remember in 2004, Trotter washed Nate Wayne's car at one of his car washes to get the number.
Trotter will practice with the entire team this morning for the first time since he signed the one-year deal last week. White will sport the No. 52 jersey at the 10-10-10 workout. The practice should last about an hour and then players will be made available to the media which is when we will find out if any of the injured stars of offense – Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook or Kevin Curtis – made their way back to the field. It's the first practice for the team since the 34-14 win over Kansas City on Sept. 27. Now, the Eagles prepare for a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that fell to 0-4 after a 16-13 loss to the Redskins on Sunday.
