Vick, Maclin Downgraded To Out

Prior to the Eagles' trip up the New Jersey Turnpike on Saturday afternoon, the team downgraded quarterback Michael Vick (ribs) and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (shoulder, hamstring) from questionable to out on the team's injury report. Neither player traveled with the team.

Quarterback Vince Young will make his first start Sunday night as an Eagle. He took all of the first-team reps in practice this week as the team prepared to face the Giants. The two-time Pro Bowl quarterback is 30-17 in his career as a starter, including a 2-0 mark against the Giants.

Wide receiver Riley Cooper will start in place of Maclin. The Eagles promoted Chad Hall from the practice squad to the active roster on Wednesday. Cooper has started in two previous games, both in his 2010 rookie season. One of those games was in Tennessee where he scored his first career touchdown.

Vick and Maclin joined offensive tackle King Dunlap (concussion) and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle), who were both ruled out for the game on Friday. Defensive end Brandon Graham (knee) is questionable. Free safety Nate Allen (concussion) and guard Evan Mathis (toe) are probable.
