Quarterback Michael Vick did not pass his ImPACT test on Wednesday and will not be cleared to practice on Thursday. Nick Foles will take the practice reps and is on track to start his third straight game Sunday night against the Cowboys.
Vick has made substantial progress since suffering a concussion in the Week 10 game against Dallas. He returned to meetings last week and took part in throwing sessions over the weekend. Passing the ImPACT test, which compares current a player's current state to baseline, is one of the final hurdles that Vick needs to clear before he can fully return to action.
In nearly three full games, Foles has completed 59.6 percent of his passes for 542 yards with one touchdown against three interceptions. Against Dallas, Foles came off the bench to complete 22-of-32 pass attempts for 219 yards with a touchdown against an interception.
