Prior to kickoff of today's highly-anticipated NFC East showdown at Lincoln Financial field, both teams announced their inactive player lists. Notably for the Cowboys, linebacker and pass-rush specialist DeMarcus Ware and running back DeMarco Murray are both listed as inactive. Today will be Ware's first time missing a game in his nine-year career. Without Murray, rookie Joseph Randle will make the start at running back.
The following Cowboys are inactive:
DE DeMarcus Ware
RB DeMarco Murray
RB Lance Dunbar
T Darrion Weems
G David Arkin
LB DeVonte Holloman
Meanwhile for the Eagles, the following players are inactive:
QB Michael Vick
RB Chris Polk
S Patrick Chung
T Matt Tobin
T Dennis Kelly
CB Shaun Prater
DL Damion Square
After saying earlier in the week that he would not play, Michael Vick is inactive for the Eagles. Nick Foles will make his second consecutive start, with Matt Barkley serving as the backup.
With Polk inactive, Matthew Tucker, a recent addition to the active roster, will play as the Eagles third-string running back. Polk and Vick were both seen stretching and running on the field earlier this morning.
Patrick Chung is once again sidelined with a shoulder injury, giving Earl Wolff his third-career NFL start.
