Running back Brian Westbrook has been medically cleared and is expected to practice with the first-team offense Wednesday and throughout this week. Barring a setback, head coach Andy Reid believes No. 36 could be back on the field Sunday against Denver.
"He's ready to roll," Reid said.
Though Reid said Westbrook will have a role, rookie LeSean McCoy will have a "bigger package" in the game plan.
The head coach acknowledged that while he's concerned that Westbrook has not played in over a month, he noted the value of Westbrook's leadership.
Rookie receiver Jeremy Maclin, who sat out last week's game with a foot injury, is expected to practice Wednesday and could be back this weekend.
"We'll see how he does," Reid said of Maclin.
Meanwhile, Michael Vick is day-to-day with a quad contusion. Reid said Vick will not practice Wednesday.
