The action on the field isn't the only thing going on this Thursday night when the Eagles host the Patriots. Here are all the details ...
- Thursday's game is presented by Turkey Hill, the official ice cream of the Philadelphia Eagles.
- Parkingcosts for lots in the sports complex are $20 for cars; $40 for oversized vehicles.
- Thursday's game will host Honorary CaptainTom Wright, Vice President of Marketing for Turkey Hill Dairy. Joining Wright from Saint Anne's Retirement Center are Bob Holdsworth, Butch, Sherry and Petey Frey.
- Thursday's National Anthemwill be performed by Immanuel Wilkins of Upper Darby in a unique fashion, solely on the saxophone. The Glassboro Police Department Honor Guard will be presenting the Colors.
- Thursday's Snapple Coin-Toss Kidis Luke Waldron from York Springs, PA.
- Thursday's RE/MAX Kickoff Kidis Chedaya Garner.
- Thursday's Eagles Kids Club Biggest Fanis Vincent Csercsevits, a 6-year-old from Eagleville, PA.
- USA Football Month: In recognition of USA Football Month, 10 players from the Children Advancing Towards Success (CATS) youth football team will be helping SWOOP lead the Eagles team onto the field during introductions on Thursday's game.
- National Cheer Champions: The Eagles will be hosting the Aztec Cheerleaders, the 2008 Pop Warner National Champion Cheerleaders in the Midget Division, at Thursday's game.
- Thursday's Dietz and Watson Hometown Hero is Staff Sergeant Brian Ball. Staff Sergeant Ball is a member of the US Marine Corps from Roslyn, PA. He is currently serving as a Platoon Commander with Bridge Company Bravo, 6th Engineer Support Battalion. For his efforts during a deployment to Iraq Staff Sergeant Ball received a Certificate of Commendation, and was also awarded a Presidential Unit Citation.
- Halftime Band: The halftime entertainment for Thursday's game will be a live performance by the band Liquid A on the Miller Lite Phlite Deck. The Miller Lite Phlite Deck serves as the site for all halftime performances and is located on the concourse level behind section 107. It hosts 50 lucky fans that are able to watch the game from a great location while being front row for the halftime show. To be on the Phlite Deck, fans must have a ticket from the Miller Lite promotional teams.
- Halftime Entertainment: As an additional element of entertainment during halftime, the Maple Shade Tigers Midget football team will be scrimmaging against various mascots from around the region. The mascots include SWOOP, SUPER SWOOP, YoUDee (University of Delaware), Air YoUDee, Mario (Drexel Dragon), Slapshot (Wash. Capitals), TORO (Houston Texans), Clutch (Houston Rockets), Sir Purr (Carolina Panthers), Viktor (Minn. Vikings) and Reggy (Raymond Entertainment).
- MADD: The Eagles are once again teaming up with Mothers Against Drunk Driving to administer a Designated Driver program on game day. Fans who sign up to be a designated driver receive a wristband redeemable for a free soft drink. Visit the MADD information booth located behind section 120 or any of the Guest Services locations to sign up.
- Teva Community Red Zone: Each week the Eagles will highlight two local charitable organizations that are making a difference where it's most needed, courtesy of Teva Pharmaceuticals. The organizations will receive tickets to the game and space in the Headhouse Plaza pregame so they can provide information on their services to Eagles fans at the game. This week's organizations are: Police Athletic League and USA Football.
- Teva Family Starting Line-ups: Each week the Eagles will be choosing up to four families whose lives have recently been affected by a medical condition to receive tickets to the game courtesy of Teva Pharmaceuticals. The group will have the opportunity to watch warmups from the sidelines and be on the field as the Eagles starters are announced! This week's families will be from Variety Club.
- Gender Specific Search Lines: For the 2009 season, there will be a new security search layout at every gate and entrance. Signs will designate each security search line as: Male, Female, or Family. Family lines are for groups that prefer to stay together through the security process. As Guests approach the gate, they will be instructed to locate and follow the signs for their designated security search line. This layout has been designed to improve the flow through security and ensure you get into Lincoln Financial Field in a timely manner.
- GuestAssist is the text messaging service available to Guests at Lincoln Financial Field. A Guest may call for assistance during events by sending a text message from their cell phone. The text message is received by a stadium representative and the appropriate assistance is dispatched from the Event Command Post. By using the GuestAssist system, guests will be able to report issues and concerns, ask for information and call for assistance in a fast, easy and convenient way. Users open a blank text message and address the message to ""78247"" and type the word ""ASSIST"" followed by a space and the issue (question, comment, concern, etc.) and location. On non-event days, Guests can contact the Guest Services Hotline at 267.570.4400 for assistance.
