He may have been dubbed the "Ultimate Weapon" by *Sports Illustrated*, but Eagles Hall of Fame quarterback Randall Cunningham may not be the best athlete in his own family.
Cunningham's 18-year-old daughter, Vashti, is headed to Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 Summer Olympics after placing second in the high jump over the holiday weekend at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials in Eugene, Oregon. Randall serves as Vashti's coach.
The youngest track and field athlete to represent the United States at the Olympics since 1980, Cunningham has already excelled on the world stage having won the high jump at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in March.
The U.S. has not won the gold medal in the high jump since the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. The Opening Ceremonies for the 2016 Summer Olympics are on August 5 and the track and field competition begins one week later on August 12.
