The good news from head coach Doug Pederson on Monday was that quarterback Carson Wentz has been medically cleared and will start this Sunday against the Colts.
The bad news? Wentz won't have one of his top targets available.
Pederson revealed that wide receiver Mike Wallace suffered a fibula fracture Sunday against Tampa Bay. At this point, Wallace is not being placed on Injured Reserve as there are more tests to be done.
Wallace suffered the injury after he caught a short pass on the left side of the field and scooted up the field for an 8-yard gain. However, the play was wiped out by a Jason Peters penalty.
With Alshon Jeffery's status up in the air for Sunday, the Eagles have Nelson Agholor, Kamar Aiken, DeAndre Carter, and Shelton Gibson at wide receiver.
