The Eagles signed rookie wide receiver Will Murphy to the practice squad and released offensive lineman Isaac Remington from the practice squad on Monday. Murphy caught three passes for 26 yards during the preseason after being signed as a rookie free agent from Oregon.
A former walk-on at Oregon under Chip Kelly, the 6-foot-2, 193-pound Murphy began his collegiate career as a member of the scout team as a freshman, worked his way up from being a second-year walk-on to becoming a contributor on offense as a senior in 2012. In three seasons at Oregon, he totaled 240 receiving yards and one touchdown in 30 games.
