Carson Wentz injured in first quarter

Quarterback Carson Wentz went to the locker room with just over two minutes left in the first quarter due to a potential head injury and will not return. Following the Eagles' second offensive possession, Wentz went to the blue medical tent behind the bench for evaluation. While the defense was on the field, Wentz went into the locker room. Quarterback Josh McCown came on the field for the third possession, as the Eagles trailed 3-0.

Early in the third quarter, the Eagles announced that Wentz was officially out for the remainder of the game.

Defensive end Brandon Graham also suffered an injury in the game. He was questionable to return with a knee injury suffered late in the first quarter, but returned on Seattle's first drive of the third quarter.
