The Eagles selected defensive tackle Ty Robinson out of Nebraska with the No. 111 pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

"I got to meet them (Eagles) at the Senior Bowl and talk to them a little bit through the Combine, I feel like we had a great meeting," Robinson said about his pre-draft experience with the team. "I feel like versatility is something I've kind of honed in on. Being able to play all over the line. I'm willing to do whatever the coaches need me to do. Learning a new role or spot, I'm just looking to work to develop myself and become a better player to help the team in any way I can."

"It doesn't take long to put on the tape to like Ty Robinson," Executive Vice President/General Manager Howie Roseman said. "He's got quickness, he can work edges, he's strong with his hands. He's got great, elite character. He's a Philadelphia kind of player. He was a guy we were targeting yesterday at 96, woke up, was really hoping he was there at our pick. That was one we weren't considering trading back from."

Philadelphia originally had the No. 96 pick in the third round, but after two trades, the team moved to the fourth round.

The first trade:

Eagles receive: 2025 Pick No. 101 and a 2026 fifth-round pick

Falcons receive: 2025 Pick No. 96 (S Xavier Watts)

The second trade:

Eagles receive: 2025 Pick No. 111, 2025 Pick No. 130, and 2025 Pick No. 191

Broncos receive: 2025 Pick No. 101 (DE Sai'Vion Jones) and 2025 Pick No. 134

Robinson (6-5, 288 pounds) played 60 games for the Cornhuskers, tallying 134 tackles and 12 sacks in five seasons after redshirting in 2019. He tied the school record for most games played.

The Gilbert, Arizona, native earned second-team All-Big Ten honors in 2024 after picking up 12 tackles for loss and seven sacks.

Career Stats

  • 60 career games (47 starts)
  • 134 Total tackles
  • 26.5 Tackles for loss
  • 12 sacks
  • 12 pass breakups

Robinson was named the 2024 Guy Chamberlin Award winner, which is given to a Nebraska senior player who has shown by his play and contributions to the team that he has the qualities and dedication of legendary Pro Football Hall of Famer Guy Chamberlin.

He played with Eagles center Cam Jurgens during his time in college and will now be reunited with his former teammate.

"Cam was a year older than me when I came in. So, I got to kind of see him grow up and learn the position at center. We got to battle each other every day, so we're pretty close," Robinson said.
