After another trade, the Eagles selected cornerback Mac McWilliams with the No. 145 pick in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

"Just making it this far, I've had a lot of trials and tribulations that was ahead of me and I had to overcome a lot of things to be where I'm at right now. I'm just blessed with the opportunity," McWilliams said. "I know a lot about the Eagles. We won the Super Bowl last year and I'm definitely trying to run it back this year. I have a great understanding of what the culture is here and just the style of play."

The Eagles traded out of their second fourth-round pick to move back to the fifth round.

Eagles receive: 2025 fifth-round pick (No. 145 overall), 2025 sixth-round pick (No. 207 overall)

Jets receive: 2025 fourth-round pick No. 130 overall)

McWilliams (5-10, 191 pounds) started 11 games for Central Florida last season, grading out as the team's best defender according to Pro Football Focus.

Prior to transferring to Central Florida, he was a team captain at UAB and also served as the primary punt returner.
