The Eagles announced the signing of former Washington Redskins defensive end Chris Wilson to a one-year deal.
The 29-year-old Wilson is entering his 5th NFL season after spending his first four NFL campaigns with the Washington Redskins. He recorded 65 tackles and six sacks in his tenure in Washington after signing with the club as a free agent in 2007. He spent the 2005-06 seasons with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League and helped lead the Lions to a Grey Cup title in 2006.
The Flint, MI, native attended Northwood University.
Earlier, the Eagles released wide receivers DeAndre Brown and Cordario Calvin. They also signed defensive tackle Marlon Favorite to a one-year deal.
