The Eagles announced the following roster moves ahead of tonight's kickoff against the Atlanta Falcons:
• Signed OL Nick Gates to the active roster
The seventh-year veteran was signed during Training Camp and landed on the practice squad following the preseason. Gates has experience starting at four of the five offensive line positions.
• Waived OLB Patrick Johnson
Johnson was the hero of the Ravens preseason game when his strip-sack in the final minute allowed Jake Elliott to kick the game-winner.
• Elevated WR Parris Campbell and TE E.J. Jenkins for tonight's game
Campbell, a sixth-year veteran, will be active with A.J. Brown out (hamstring) and Johnny Wilson questionable (hamstring) for tonight.
Jenkins made his NFL debut last week in similar fashion as a practice squad elevation. He played three snaps on offense.
The gameday inactives will be announced at 6:45 PM, 90 minutes before kickoff.
