The Eagles announced the signing of rookie free agent linebacker Terence Thomas, who played his collegiate football locally at Villanova.
Thomas, 6-0, 235, was a four-year letterman at Villanova, starting all 53 games over the course of his collegiate career and registering 327 tackles, 17.5 sacks, six forced fumbles and one interception. A team captain as a senior, Thomas garnered 2010 All-CAA Football First Team honors after posting 83 tackles, two sacks, three pass breakups and one fumble recovery. A native of Summit, NJ, Thomas attended Lawrenceville School where he was an All-Prep All-State selection and also earned All-Prep honors in track and field.
