The Eagles announced Wednesday morning that they have waived linebacker Eric Wilson.
Wilson signed a one-year contract with the Eagles in April. He was originally signed by the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2017. In his first season with the Eagles, the 6-1, 230-pound linebacker appeared in seven games and recorded 43 tackles (18 solo). The 27-year-old from Redford, Michigan recorded a team-high with 10 tackles (6 solo) and intercepted Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes when the Eagles played Kansas City on October 3.
