Wednesday's Injury Report

Quarterback Jalen Hurts made his return to the practice field on Wednesday for the first time since suffering a concussion on December 22 in Washington.

Hurts, who is also dealing with a left finger injury, was a limited participant as he continues to progress through the NFL's concussion protocol.

"It was cool to have him out there. It's always good to have your QB1 back. It was dope," guard Mekhi Becton said. "He looked great. He looked like Jalen."

Wide receiver DeVonta Smith said it was good to get back into the practice routine with Hurts.

"I think it helps a lot. Just really going out there, for him just getting back into his daily routine, knowing that he was in the protocol he probably couldn't do the things that he does on a daily basis," Smith said. "So, for him, it's really just getting back into his daily routine. I think with us, football is football."

The only Eagle who did not practice on Wednesday was rookie guard Trevor Keegan due to an illness. Keegan made his NFL debut in Sunday's win over the Giants.

In addition to Hurts, wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee/rest), quarterback Kenny Pickett (ribs), and running back Will Shipley (ankle) were limited.

Everyone else was full go, including defensive tackle Byron Young, who had his 21-day practice window opened on Wednesday. Young has been on Injured Reserve since October 25 with a hamstring injury. Young has not suited up in a game for the Eagles this season.

QB Jordan Love limited for Packers

The Packers' starting quarterback was also limited in practice on Wednesday.

Jordan Love is dealing with a sore throwing elbow, which he injured in Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears. He said he's "hopeful" to play against the Eagles.

Love may wear additional padding to help protect the elbow. He is looking for the pain in the elbow to subside before fully participating in practice.

Love's backup, Malik Willis, was also injured against the Bears. Willis was limited on Wednesday due to an injured thumb on his throwing hand.

It's no surprise that wide receiver Christian Watson did not practice as Head Coach Matt LaFleur indicated on Monday that the tall and speedy pass catcher is done for the season with a knee injury. The Packers will also be without their top cornerback in Jaire Alexander, who is on Injured Reserve with a knee injury.

Starting defensive tackle T.J. Slaton missed Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury and LaFleur noted that Slaton may not practice all week.

The Packers' defense did get some good news with the return of starting linebacker Quay Walker (ankle) and safety Evan Williams (quad) in a limited basis. Both players have been sidelined for the past three games.
