The Eagles announced changes to their practice squad on Thursday afternoon.

The team is bringing back a familiar face as tight end C.J. Uzomah was signed to the practice squad. Uzomah was originally signed by the Eagles in April and spent time with the team during Training Camp before being released in August.

"I really wanted to come to a place, where in my heart, I have a feeling that we have a great chance to win a Super Bowl this year," said Uzomah after signing his contract at the NovaCare Complex in April. "It's the culture, the fans, and everything about this team and organization that I have observed as a bystander over the years."

The 6-foot-5, 271-pound tight end is in the 10th season of his career. Uzomah has tallied 192 catches for 1,881 yards and 16 touchdowns throughout his career, mostly with the Bengals.

Over the last two seasons, Uzomah totaled 29 receptions, 290 yards, and three touchdowns. He missed the final five games of his Jets career after suffering a season-ending knee injury on December 3, 2023.

To make room for Uzomah, the Eagles released safety Caden Sterns from the practice squad. Sterns has been cut and picked back up by the team multiple times since the summer and has not seen action on the field this season. – Written by Liam Wichser

Brandon Graham will be the first Eagle and just the fourth active NFL defensive player to reach 200 career regular-season games this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
