The Eagles don't have much time to dwell on Sunday's loss to New England.
The team took part in a walkthrough Monday, will have a full practice Tuesday and board a plane Wednesday for Seattle to take on the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football.
"We're trying to get this loss out of our system, so it helps a lot," linebacker Jamar Chaney said. "It hurt real bad losing that game against the Patriots, but we've got to move on."
The Eagles aren't mathematically eliminated from postseason competition, but it is an uphill climb as they trail the Dallas Cowboys by three games in the NFC East.
"It's tough to stay positive," running back LeSean McCoy said. "Only thing we can do is control what we can control and that's win games. If things work out, they work out for us. We're going to keep a positive mindset."
Defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins noted that at Monday's walkthrough he didn't see any players "throwing in any towels."
"We're going to keep fight and keep this thing going," Jenkins said.
Jenkins acknowledged that in a short week teams prepare more mentally since the body is still trying to heal from Sunday's game. Jenkins suffered a thumb laceration that required three stitches in the game, but he returned to action. The disappointment in the locker room can also help the team prepare for Thursday if the Eagles use that emotion the right way.
"It could be if everyone takes their frustration and we take it out on Seattle," Jenkins said.
